An Erie man accused of homicide wants a judge to dismiss his statement...

Damar Jordan was accused of shooting and killing 25 year old Kendall Bryant in September

At his preliminary hearing... A video was played that was acquired by detectives, highlighting where Jordan was that night.

The judge also heard a statement made by Jordan back on November 1st... When prosecutors say Jordan confessed to the crime...

Today during the pre-trial hearing, Jordan says police questioned him about what happened on the night of the shooting, after asking for a public defender.

Police claim that Jordan signed papers waiving his right to a lawyer.

Judge Shad Connelly has not yet come to a decision.
