Woman charged in Theft from Urraro Oil
March 5, 2013 - An Erie woman is charged with theft from a McKean Township company.
According to a State Police report, 63 year old Karen Urraro was working as office manager for Urraro Oil on Sterrettania Road, a company owned by Marianne Urraro.
The report alleges that Karen, "over a significant period of time stole thousands of dollars from the daily deposits."
She's also accused of filing a fraudulent insurance enrollment form.
Investigators say the incidents happened from January 2006 to October 2011.
Charges against Karen Urraro include theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and forgery.
