March 6, 2013 - 30 year old Joshua Nickerson pleaded guilty in the case of a crash that killed Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Chief David Flint, and severely injured Sharon Petri last February.
Charges include aggravated assault, involuntary manslaughter, and DUI by controlled substance.
Nickerson will be sentenced on May 28th. He could face a maximum of 12 1/2 years behind bars.
His attorney said Nickerson did not want to fight the charges because he knows he was in the wrong.
However, DA Jack Daneri disagrees, saying if Nickerson really felt remorse, he would have waived his preliminary hearing and plead guilty months ago.
