A Canton Ohio man will be spending 12 years in federal prison for robbing 8 banks last summer.

Thirty-three-year-old Benjamin Gates robbed a Citizens Bank in Pittsburgh. He came north to rob the Citizens branch at the Yorktown Center June 25th.

After that, Gates robbed six more banks in Ohio until he was nabbed by police after a witness got a license plate number following a robbery in August, according to the FBI in Cleveland.
