Erie Man Sentenced in Local Bar Shooting

An Erie man convicted of shooting another man outside of a local bar was sentenced in court this morning.


Twenty-three year old Ulysses Altland was sentenced to 10-31 years in prison for various counts including voluntary manslaughter, aggravated assault, and recklessly endangering another person.

Altland shot and killed forty year-old Brent Washington outside of Wagner's Bar and Grille on West 8th Street on March 3rd of last year.
