Gang signs, graffiti and t-shirts led Erie police to identify and apprehend more than a dozen people involved in what they call a corrupt organization.

Erie Police Chief Steve Franklin detailed the department's investigation of the gang, known as the "Stick up Kids," connected to crimes that date back to 2009.

Erie police say they have identified 30 associates of the S-U-K.
Fourteen of them have been charged and arrested. Thirteen remain in custody and one has been released on bail from county prison.

The group was reportedly involved in several burglaries and other crimes in the city.
The fourteen individuals arrested face a collective total of 18 charges.
Police say the group tried to claim they did not belong to a group.

However, Erie police found graffiti of the gang symbol, t-shirts with S-U-K, pictures of them making the gang symbol and even tattoos that read S-U-K.

A search warrant executed back in October of 2012 in the 600 block of East 9th Street turned up five stolen firearms along with several stolen electronics.

Chief Franklin says they have punched a hole right through the center of the gang.
