Union City Man Charged with Raping a Child

A Union City man is in the county prison tonight accused of raping an eight-year-old child.

Twenty-one-year-old Donald Carnes was arrested and charged by Union City police Wednesday.

Carnes is accused of six felony crimes for the assault which police say happened last Chistmas Day.

Carnes is scheduled for a preliminary hearing March 25th. He is in jail unable to post one-hundred-thousand-dollars bond.
