Community Takes Back Site of Murder Victim
MARCH 14, 2013- The Erie community gathers to remember the first homicide victim of the year and take back the site where he was murdered.
In the wake of the murder of Aderian Page, community members came together.
It was an emotional time Thursday evening for the family members of 35-year-old murder victim Aderian Page.
For some, it was the first time heading back to the site where his half frozen body was found more than 2 weeks ago... Beaten and battered.
More than 100 family members, friends and peace activists gathered at 2412 Pennsylvania Avenue.
The Sisters of Mercy, Benedict and St. Joseph prayed for the victim, family and the one who committed the act
They then blessed the scene.
Family members of page tell us Aderian's death has been difficult to grasp.
Robert Quick was arrested for allegedly killing Aderian Page.
The murder weapon was allegedly an aluminum baseball bat.
