March 15th, 2013

Nearly one hundred students got a hands on-experience of what it was like to be a mechanical engineer earlier this morning.

Seventh and eighth grade students from Diehl and Pfeiffer-Burleigh participated in "mechanical engineering day" at Gannon University.

The students worked with Gannon engineering students to build tall towers, small water-crafts and also crash tested eggs.

The focus of the day was to educate and encourage the students to consider a career in mechanical engineering.
