Benefit Helps West County Man With Mounting Medical Bills
More than 150 friends, family and even some strangers came out to help a west county man when he needs it most.
The Home Tavern in West Springfield was the location for the fundraiser for Dan "Tut" Lybrook.
Dan was diagnosed with Glioblastoma M ultiforma, which is a terminal brain cancer. He's been traveling to the Cleveland Clinic five days a week for radiation treatment and chemotherapy.
All those at today's event were there to help the family defray medical costs. Another benefit for Lybrook will be held April 20th from 1-6pm at the Perry Hiway Hose Company.
