Albion Community Meeting With Police Department

watch video

The Albion community is gearing up for their public meeting tonight with the police department.

Back in November, two Springboro men were killed in a high speed chase on Route 18.

The initial chase began at the Country Fair, where police tried to give the driver a traffic violation. And according to Borough Chief of Police Dan Ries.

Some community members are upset saying that this never would have happened if there wasn't a high speed chase.

Ries says the officer at the scene did not exceed the speed limit. We're told there will also be concerns centering around DUI and speeding.

The meeting will be tonight at 7 at the Albion Borough Hall.
