Papal Transition Complete as Pope Francis is Inaugurated

The inauguration ceremony for Pope Francis has taken place.
There was a ceremony and mass to officially install Pope Francis as head of the Roman Catholic Church.
More than 130 foreign dignitaries, royals, heads of state and even representatives of multiple religions, were all present for the inauguration.

Francis is the 267th pope and the first Latin American pontiff.
The installation was part public celebration and part solemn ritual.
At the Tomb of St. Peter, Pope Francis accepted the symbols, including a gold plated Fisherman's Ring and a lamb's wool vestment.
A holy mass was then held as the world watched.
It has been just under a week since the white smoke signaled the selection of a new pope.
