March 20th, 2013

Seventeen-year-old Jacob Samusenko's body was found floating in the East Canal Basin at Dobbin's Landing yesterday afternoon.

Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook ruled today the cause of death as an accidental drowning.
There were no signs of foul play in the autopsy results, and Cook was able to rule out suicide as well.

Samusenko's family members turned to their faith to get them through the ordeal which began when Jacob disappeared January 29th. And that faith is the only thing helping Jacob's mother through this terrible time.
