Health Rankings In Erie County Drop

Over the past few years... The health rankings in Erie County have continued to drop.

Erie County Health Department officials tell us that they've been collecting data on the county's health rankings since 2007.

And 2013 in particular, has taken a fall.

For the last several years, there have been several groups and a lot of initiatives to try and change the status of Erie County, and unfortunately these numbers don't reflect that.

The overall health of the county ranked 49th out of 67 counties in the state.

Last year, Erie County was ranked 40th, and 35th in 2011.
