March 21st, 2013

The State House is debating a bill right now that would replace state owned liquor stores through privatization.

A vote was scheduled for this afternoon, but the House is still in session.
The vote schedule would then send the proposal to Senate.

If senate passes it, beer and wine could be sold through supermarkets and private businesses.

Governor Tom Corbett supports liquor privatization.
He wants to spend the money raised from privatizing to improve public education.
