Veterans Honored

The Erie Soldiers and Sailors Home added some new faces to their Hall of Fame Thursday morning. Seven veterans from all over Pennsylvania were inducted. The honorees have all made significant contributions to the care of veterans and to the home itself. Former Governor Tom Ridge, who was not able to attend the ceremony, was one of the inductees. Other veterans who were recognized said they were overwhelmed by the honor. Organizers said the ceremony was the perfect way to spend Flag Day.
