If you are walking on the campus of Edinboro University, you'll probably notice a new sculpture. University President, Dr. Frank Pogue unveiled the outdoor statue Thursday afternoon. The artwork sits between the Louis C. Cole Auditorium and Douchette Hall. The sculpture was created by Jim Myford, an Edinboro Alumnus and renowned artist. Myford says the art represents relationships with family, friends, faculty, and the entire university community. Also on campus, the cornerstone of a new five million dollar music building was laid. The state-of-the-art facility will sit behind Academy Hall along Normal Street. It will house a listening lab, a recital hall, several sound-proof studios, and much more. The project is expected to be finished this fall.
