A young boy is dead and several others are in the hospital after a rollover accident along Interstate 90 Tuesday morning. The accident happened around 2:00 a.m. Tuesday morning near Mile Marker 32. A family was traveling westbound in their Ford Expedition near the Jordan Road underpass when a deer ran in front of their vehicle. The driver, Melissa Burns of Duxbury, Massachusetts, swerved to avoid the deer, causing the vehicle to roll. An 11-year old boy was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and three other passengers, including 56-year old, Gary Burns, and two other young children, were taken to Hamot Medical Center for various injuries. State Police were forced to close down the westbound lane for a short time to clear debris.
