More Shigellosis Cases
Health department and tutor time officials say there are 10 children with confirmed cases of shigellosis.The health department warns this infection causes severe, and sometimes bloody, diarrhea.
Tutor Time will be closed for the remainder of the week.
Staff there are working closely with the heath department to try to prevent the further spread of the infection.
The health department recommends that anyone with symptoms should see a doctor immediately.
They say washing your hands is the best way to prevent the spread of the infection.
