Gov. Rendell Signs Bill To Hike Minimum Wage

Minimum wage workers in pennsylvania will soon be making more money. Governor Ed Rendell signed Senate bill 1090 Sunday at the Sharon Baptist Church in Philadelphia. The bill will increase the state`s minimum wage, beginning January 1st from 5-dollars-and-15-cents an hour to 6-dollars-and-15-cents an hour. Then on July 1st of 2007, the wage will increase again, this time to 7:15 and hour.
