Warren County Guard Member Dies
An Army National Guard member from northwest Pennsylvania becomes the first casualty of "Operation Jump Start".
36 year old Kirsten Fike of Bear Lake in Warren County, died thursday just two hours into the first day of a surveillance training mission on the US/Mexican border.
Fike collapsed in the 104 degree heat while on a mission to spot illegal immigrants along the border near Yuma, Arizona.
The official cause of her death is still not known.
Fike was a member of the 28th military police company .. based out of Greensburg.
