Fire May Be Ruled Arson
It looks like the fire that damaged a building in West Erie may be suspicious in nature.
A fire investigator was called to the former Leone corner store in the one thousand block of Raspberry.
Heavy smoke was pouring from the second floor of the building when the first engine companies arrived around 7:30 tonight.
Besides the fire on the upper floor, another fire was reported in the basement.
It took about a half hour to get the fire under control
No one was injured
