Man Found Floating In Pond
A body is found floating in a west county pond today and now investigators are trying to figure out exactly what happpened.
The body of a white man was found floating in a small pond at a residence on Route 6N in Elk Creek Township this afternoon.
The identity of the man has not been confirmed at this time...but what is confirmed is the property is owned by Dave Donnely.
Investigators tell Action News 24 a small amount of blood was found on a wall inside the residence -- but there are no indications of a shooting or a stabbing.
Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook says preliminary observations indicate the body has been in the water for some time.
Cook is hoping to make a positive identification on Friday.
