Peach Street Shooting
We`re learning more about a shooting on upper Peach Street. Pennsylvania State Police say neither the victim nor the shooter were from our area.
30-year old Jesus Mancilla is the victim in this incident.
State Police say Mancilla also known as Edward Pina had been living in Los Angeles and Ashtubula, Ohio, and was not a legal U.S. citizen.
Mancilla was shot in the stomach outside of Lazer Tag around one o`clock yesterday. He was prounounced dead at Hamot Hospital.
Police say 17-year old Donnie Swift called an Erie Cab to pick him up outside the Holiday Inn Express, and is believed to be the shooter.
Mancilla apparently approached Swift and the two men began arguing that`s when Mancilla was shot.
