Blooming Valley Fire
An early morning fire has destroyed a home in Crawford County.
Volunteers from several Crawford County departments responded to the Carline residence on State Street in Blooming Valley. The first units on scene exhausted their water supply and called for more help, a total of eight fire departments responded to the incident. Almost half mile of hose was needed to deliver more water, but the blaze took off resulting in a day long battle.
The family was not home when the fire broke out. No injuries were reported but volunteers say the family dog may have perished inside the home.
The Red Cross has been called in to assist the family.
