Albion Residents Advised To Boil Their Water
Residents living in the Borough of Albion are advised to boil their water for the next few days after an early morning accident damaged a water main within the Borough`s water system.
The driver of a car slammed through a fence that surrounded the Rogers Brothers business.
The car ended up striking an 8 inch main that feeds the Albion water system.
Because of the loss of water pressure and other problems caused by the accident, residents were advised to boil their water as a precaution.
In the meantime, Borough officials are monitoring the situation and say there is no evidence at this time of any contamination in the water system.
