The hustle and bustle of Black Friday 2006 has come and gone. Stores in Erie and all across the nation depend on holiday sales to set the tone for their success or failure for the year, and local officials believe this year may have been one of the biggest Black Fridays we`ve seen yet. Employees spent Saturday restocking store shelves after crowds of people flocked into their stores for the big deals. Store managers say for the most part, the day went rather smoothly. Mall officials say they believe they had a record number of shoppers.
