Motorcycle Accident Kills Corry Man

A 51 year old Corry man is dead after slamming nearly head-on into a mini van.. Lifestar flew Thomas Simmonsen to Hamot Medical Center just after 3 this afternoon. He died while undergoing treatment The accident happened in the 16 thousand block of Harecreek Road. Simmonsen apparently crossed the center lane while trying to round a curve and collided with the mini van. He was thrown 50 feet thru the air before hitting the ground. Police said Simmonsen was wearing a helmet.
