breaking news
Relentless rains overnight and Friday morning created quite a mess for dozens of Millcreek residents.
Several areas, especially a mobile home park on Marshall Drive, experienced heavy flooding.
At one point Friday afternoon, volunteer firefighters with boats responded to evacuate residents, but nobody took them up on the offer.
In some sections of the park, the water was between 2 and 3 feet deep, roads were washed away and several homes were without water.
Many residents were forced to put their vehicles and belongings on higher ground.
