9. What if my family member lives in an assisted living community? Can they still get help?
Absolutely. For those who have a “home” in an independent living or assisted living arrangement, we can supplement the services offered by your facility in so many ways, such as all-day trips to visit out-of-town relatives, an evening out of the facility for dinner and a play or movies or for any unscheduled event you may wish to attend individually. Often, our clients who live in an apartment or community need some light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation, or simply, help with personal care.
Our CAREGivers often continue to help long-time clients after they move into other “homes” as well, easing the transfer and making the change much more manageable for the senior.
