Former Penn State President To Be Charged In Scandal

November 1, 2012 - One year following the arrest of Jerry Sandusky, reports are now indicating that Former Penn State President Graham Spanier will face charges in relation to the child sex abuse scandal.
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Attorney General Linda Kelly will make an announcement that Spanier will be charged with perjury and obstruction of justice.
The paper cited anonymous sources for its report.
Sandusky was found guilty on 45 counts of child sex abuse at trial.
We have confirmed that Kelly is scheduled to host a news conference in Harrisburg to announce a major new development in the case.
