An accident involving a car and a semi truck leave two people dead yesterday evening...
According to Pennsylvania state police in Franklin, a vehicle driven by 78 year old John Zimmerman was headed south on Horsecreek road in Cranberry township.
The vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Horsecreek road and state route 157, and was struck by a tractor trailer.
A passenger in the car was 78 year old Ann Jones, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Zimmerman died at UPMC Northwest.
