A local doctor will stay in prison but is now eligible for parole in five years.

Almost five years ago, Doctor David Klees was sent to prison, sentenced for up to eighteen years on charges claiming that he over-prescribed painkillers to patients.

Yesterday, Klees was back in court. This time he was sentenced by Judge William Cunningham to five to ten years behind bars, and could be approved for parole in five years.
