Hundreds of people turned out this afternoon at the Greek Orthodox Church in Millcreek for a benefit for an Erie woman who was shot during an attempted robbery 2 months ago.

Haley Briglia is in her 4th year of medical school at the University of Toledo.
On October 24th Briglia was completing a 4 week clinical rotation in Saint Louis when she was robbed, then shot.

She was in critical condition and underwent several surgeries.

Her recovery is going well,  but sh still faces more treatment and a mountain of medical bills.
All the money raised at today's benefit will go towards Halley's medical bills
