Office buildings are prone to the flu virus spreading rapidly.

Chances are, if you work in close quarters, you come in contact with someone else's germs on a daily basis.

So with influenza A hitting the public hard this season, most office buildings are posting extra signs as friendly reminders to scrub your hands often.

Some offices are even offering face masks for those who are more prone to illness because of weak immune systems or asthma.

Wiping down common spaces like keyboards and copy machines, can prevent the virus from spreading.

Employers are hoping these precautions are a step towards keeping your work space flu-free.
