Thousands of girl scouts around the country are having a sleepover tonight to watch movies, dance and learn the art of selling Girl Scout cookies.

80 local Girl Scouts are spending the night at the Harborcreek YMCA for the 1st ever National Sleepover.

Girl Scouts around the country are holding sleepovers and will be connected thru the internet and will be watching the same movie and dancing and talking with each other via the internet.

Part of the night will be used as a training session for the Girl Scout cookie sales.

There will be cooking booths and mock cookie sales.

Organizers hope to make this national event an annual affair
