Hundreds of Brown Trout Are Stocked

The Fish and Boat Commission was busy today stocking brown trout.
Trout were stocked at three locations today, the Upper Gravel Pit in Fairview as well as the East Basin Pond and the West Basin Pond at Presque Isle.
The ponds are stocked for family fun events that are held by the Sons of Lake Erie throughout the year.
The fish were going in to chilly water but they were prepared.
There were 800 fish stocked at the east and west basins and 900 at the Upper Gravel Pit.
