Charges have been dropped against a man involved in a shooting back in December.

A judge dismissed charges against 41-year-old Kendall Foster after police couldn't tie him to the scene.

Foster and 32-year-old Dimas Cruz were charged with homicide, aggravated assault and a several related charges, after both were accused in taking part in a home invasion on December 20th at an apartment near East 27th and Parade streets.

A 23-year-old man was shot several times, including once in the head.

The use of the word "allegedly" is pretty important.

Thanks to the Erie police and DA for making Erie a safer place. An observant man once told me "If you want to get away with murder, just move to Erie." I guess he was right after all.
