February 6, 2013 - There was a big turnout for a town hall meeting in Meadville Wednesday night.

The crowd of over 100 was on hand to discuss plans or ideas to help keep the Meadville Recreation Center financially viable.

The crowd was broken into small groups to brainstorm for ideas.

The authority will then take the input and weigh the possibility of enacting the ideas.

Due to the change in the funding stream from the school district, the recreation center must now adapt to the new conditions.

The meeting was held as a way to gauge Meadville's commitment to the center and to create a network for groups willing to help.
