February 25, 2013 - Making the case tonight for the need for the Lake Erie Fishing Stamp.

Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commissioner Ed Mascharka spoke before the S.O.N.S. of Lake Erie meeting tonight to address concerns over the $9.70 stamp.

Mascharka says the stamp is a secure revenue source for the Erie County Region, and noted that it helps to protect the habitat of the fish.

The stamp was passed in 2005 and the funding from it is dedicated to Lake Erie and its tributaries.
