West Side Rollover Sends Driver to Hospital with Serious Injuries

FEBRUARY 26, 2013- A violent rollover crash on Erie's west side sends the driver of a SUV to the hospital with serious injuries.

            Around 10:15 Monday evening a blue SUV flipped and crashed along the 12-hundred block of West 21st Street, ejecting the driver from the vehicle.

            The driver reportedly hit 6 parked cars prior to being ejected.

            According to Erie Police, the driver was given CPR on the scene and transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

            Erie Police called in the Street Department to bring in barricades to block off the area.

            Traffic investigators from the Erie Police Department were also called in to assist in the investigation.
