Middle school students from five local private and public schools took part in this year's two day Model United Nations competition, hosted by Collegiate Academy.

The Model UN was completely run, and put together, by students - primarily upperclassmen - from Collegiate Academy.

The Collegiate Academy students created scenarios similar to those that the real UN faces, and the middle school students had to work together to figure out ways to solve those conflicts.

Students say this was a wonderful learning experience.

Awards were given to the students at the end of the Saturday session.
