An event organized by State Senator Sean Wiley hopes to help direct care workers with public partnership issues.
As the state auditor general begins an audit of the Department of Public Welfare's transfer of payroll services for direct care workers to public partnerships, LLC., there are many direct care workers in our area that are not receiving paychecks.
One local woman tells us she hasn't received a paycheck since December and is worried that she will lose everything.
Senator Wiley and his staff has been trying to help those affected receive their paychecks.
