As part of our No Txt NWPA campaign, heading down the highway with cell phone in one hand and a steering wheel in the other is just not a good idea.

In March, the state passed a no texting while driving law.

Millcreek Police tell us it's dangerous to divide your attention between a cell phone and the road.

But it's a difficult law to enforce because it's not always easy for Police to see people texting from their patrol vehicles.

This law is strictly for texting.

You can still make or receive calls, but the fact that it's a primary offense makes it easier for Police to stop people.
