October 11, 2012--19 year old John Schlick waived his right to a preliminary hearing in front of district judge Mark Krahe in Harborcreek Thursday.

Schlick is facing numerous charges after 19 year old Marshall Curl was shot and killed at a home on east lake road last month.

Investigators say Schlick was showing off his fathers 9 millimeter and stuck a loaded clip in the gun and began waving it around.

He reportedly stuck it within inches of curl when the gun discharged, sending a bullet into his chest.

Schlick is facing charges including involuntary manslaughter and aggravated assault.
