2 Erie Banks Robbed Hours Apart

(November 8, 2012) Two Erie banks have been robbed in just one day. Erie police were called to Erie Bank at W. 10th & Peach streets just after 9:00am, Thursday.
    A teller at the bank reportedly was handed a note demanding money. According to reports from the scene, the suspect insinuated he had a weapon.
    No word at this time how much money the suspect made off with.
   
    The suspect is described as a white man in his 40's
    He was wearing a dark coat with a large hood.
    Witnesses say the coat had some kind of white writing on the back.
    Erie police are waiting on surveillance photos  taken during this heist.

    Then, this afternoon around 2:15, police were called for a hold up at First National Bank on East Grandview Blvd.
     Once again, the suspect handed the teller a note, but did not show a weapon.
      He's described as a white man with brown hair, 5 ft. 5 - 5 ft. 7, 140 lbs. He was reportedly wearing a dark green hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans
