November 22, 2012 - Erie's downtown 24 hour eatery welcomed dozens inside to enjoy each other's company and good food.

It's the 12th year Dominick's Eatery has been giving free thanksgiving meals.

More than 200 people were expected to stop by for all the thanksgiving trimmings.

Opening their doors on thanksgiving is a way to give back to the community.

"Today's the day when Emmaus actually takes off and that's our charity," said Bill Rieger, Dominick's Eatery. "Any money and any extra food also goes to Emmaus and every year we've been fortunate enough to donate a nice check and some food that's left over."
