Marshall Curl Investigation Continues

DECEMBER 4, 2012-The investigation into a shooting death that happened in September leads to more charges being filed today.

    On September 18th, 19-year-old Marshall Curl was at his friend John Schlick's house.

    While they were in the basement of Schlick's house.

John Schlick allegedly took out a 9mm hand gun, inserted a loaded clip and began waiving the gun around.

    The gun discharged hitting Curl in the chest.

    He died at UPMC Hamot.

    Schlick was charged with involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault, and reckless endangerment.

      Now, State Police charged 21-year-old Julia Ann Zacherl of Erie with six counts of furnishing alcohol to minors.

Zacherl allegedly admitted to buying alcohol for Schlick on several occasions including the day of the shooting...

State Police believe alcohol to be a factor in Curl's homicide...
