Improvements Planned For Port Meadville Airport

New improvements are on the way for the Port Meadville Airport.

The Crawford County Regional Airport Authority presented a draft of next years budget to the Crawford County Board of Commissioners.
  
Improvements to the Vernon Township airport will include replacing the roof on the hanger, replacing an airport vehicle and acquiring land to begin "phase 1" work on restoring the runway.

The runway work is expected to to continue into 2014. That will allow state and local approvals for planning, design and construction.
