DECEMBER 9, 2012- Presque Isle Downs and Casino was transformed into a rock and roll haven today...

The 2nd annual Rock for Tots event kicked off as more than 6 bands took the stage.

Whiplash, French Kiss and a Bed of Razors are just a few of the bands who rocked out for this great cause.

Rock for tots was created a decade ago in Youngstown, Ohio, after a woman's shelter was robbed of its toys.

People donated toys by the crate load today.

The organizer of the event says this is his way of giving back to the community.

Last year's event raised around 3 thousand dollars...

Organizers are hoping to raise six thousand dollars this year and bring in even more toy donations.
